Lisa Braun

Lisa Braun has been training dogs since 2006, when she acquired her first Papillon.  Starting with conformation and obedience, the transition to agility was quick.

Since 2008, she has achieved many advanced titles in agility, including 8 MACHs and 2 PACHs with her Papillons and has qualified several times for the AKC National Agility competitions with multiple dogs. 

In conformation, Lisa was in the top 10 for AKC Owner Handled Papillons in conformation with her dog, Fawkes – GCHS CH Hallmark His Royal Highness and was invited to the 2020 and 2021 AKC National Owner Handled competition at the Royal Canin show in Orlando, Florida and earned an Award of Merit at the Papillon National Specialty in 2022.  Fawkes is also a UKC Champion and has earned multiple Reserve Best in Shows and Best in Shows. 

 

Her current young dog, a Miniature American Shephard named Snitch – Whispley Misschif on the Pitch, finished his AKC Championship at 9 months of age and is a UKC Best is Show dog.

 

Lisa’s current dogs compete in several venues and have earned titles in multiple performance events.  She currently has Papillons and Miniature American Shepherds and competes in agility, conformation, FastCat, and fetch.  Her dogs are also experienced hikers and have spent countless hours exploring trails around Duluth, Sheyenne National Grasslands, and Fort Ransom.

Lisa teaches conformation and is an agility instructor. She teaches all levels from foundation students to those competing in master level agility.
